Dentsu Inc. is a Japanese international advertising and public relations joint stock company headquartered in Tokyo. Dentsu is currently the largest advertising agency and the fifth largest advertising agency network in the world in terms of worldwide revenues. Dentsu bought Aegis in 2012 and formed Dentsu Aegis Network, which is headquartered in London and operates in 145 countries worldwide with around 45,000 employees. Dentsu Aegis Network is made up of 10 global network brands—Carat, Dentsu, Dentsu media, iProspect, Isobar, Accordant, mcgarrybowen, Merkle, Fountainhead MKTG, Posterscope and Vizeum and supported by its specialist/multi-market brands.
On July 2020 a former employee wrote a review about how Dentsu aegis have a really poor managment, posted by Indeed: When I got the orientation was 10PM by email, I also got the orientation was 10AM by calendar email. I asked an instructor about the orientation time but no answered. I waited the orientation at 10PM but nobody at orientation and no called. I asked instructor what's problem several time but no responded. After I passed several days, they fire me!! incredible poor management!!

It was a hard job to start because people weren’t very welcoming. Any questions I had I was basically on my own to figure it out. You cant even get any help from HR because they are even more of a mess. The tone from the top is bad. The leaders are cliquey and mean. Many of them have no idea what they are doing, and they only got these roles from either sucking up to people or being part of a boys club. If you are considering a job offer from an agency, that’s probably fine, but if it’s DAN HQ do yourself a favor and RUN. Hard work, knowledge, and skills are not rewarded or valued there. And forget about a bonus, those don’t happen."

Constant pressure from superiors, micromanagement, finance department has a mile walk to parking structure, goals and expectations are not clearly stated, management not adaptive nor do they listen to reasonable improvements/suggestions, employee feedback/issues are interrogated and questioned/not trusted by upper management, no effort was made by upper management to get to know inferiors outside of the scope of their job, overall very poor environment for self-development and growth."

Salary increases and bonuses are at the discretion of leaders and are not based on a reflection of employee performance even though we're told to participate in performance reviews. Poor decisions made by senior leadership who aren't aware of BAU which leads to huge effects on the ability to complete day to day with successfully. Poor central leadership. Unusually high turnover with very little replacement or backfilling which creates even more work for teams experiencing the loss. High expectations without proper compensation. Below industry standards for salary and pay. Little concern to increase employee job satisfaction. Overall poor company culture."

says"Dentsu does not know how to retain good employees. They will dump work on you if you show you're capable. Forget about raises and bonuses. Forget about work life balance. Dentsu is a culture where managers leave at a decent time and dump work on you. The CFO leaves at 5:30 everyday while everyone else slaves away. Departments are understaffed and the CFO is unwilling to hire more staff or retain the good ones. if you're fresh out of college this would be an exciting place. If you're an established professional STAY AWAY! You'll either be fired for nothing being able to perform or if you can perform, be dumped with more work."

It's really unpleasant to be new to the team, feels like a constant battle which just becomes draining and demotivating. There are some really great people. There are also some really not great people. Absolutely no culture. They talk a lot about being people first but their actions tend to contradict that."

Ive called several times and after being on hold for about 20minutes each time I'm forwarded to voice-mail. I paid extra for priority shipping because in the past its taken me about a month to receive my items which looks like whats going to happen now. I dont recommend paying extra for shipping because you arent going to get your items any faster, I also don't recommend ordering from this site unless you're prepared to wait weeks for your items and if you have a problem dont expect to get any answers from this company. Order number 112536455 ALSO YOU CANT CANCEL YOUR ORDER UNLESS YOU CAN GET AHOLD OF SOMEONE AND their site says they may charge you 20% for cancelations,so either way they're cheating you out of money. EDIT once I made this review 2 of my 3 items were "shipped" tracking number doesnt work though, one item is back ordered, not sure how a company can take your money for something they falsely advertised having.. Recieved my package, got 2 of my three pairs of shoes I ordered but site says that all items have been shipped. Cannot get a response from company unless I keep editing my review, then they miraculously respond."
